Charlie Meola has been the Head Golf Professional at Saxon Woods Golf Course for over a decade. Growing up locally, Charlie played his first round of golf at Saxon Woods at the age of 16 and fell in love with the game. From there, Charlie began working towards a career as a golf professional. He has won numerous tournaments in the tri-state area and has also competed in PGA Tour events. He is a firm believer that practice makes perfect. You will always find him hitting balls at the Saxon Woods driving range or helping one of his students grow their game.
CHARLES LANZA
Charles Lanza is an Assistant Golf Professional at Saxon Woods Golf Course. He has been a teaching professional for over 25 years, spending six years at Whippoorwill Club in Armonk, NY. His extensive years of tournament play include multiple rounds in the NY State Open, the MET PGA Open and the Westchester Open. Charles offers lessons to men, women and juniors, including a weekly ladies clinic. He believes that golf is just like life, it’s not always fair but with patience and persistence, good things will come. He strives to use the lessons he has learned through tournament and social play to help aspiring golfers improve their game while having fun!
